Soldering and desoldering station 1-channel 60 W with iron for SSC cartridges - Oki MFR-1160

Tip temperature typically collapses at the very moment a ground plane pulls heat away. The MFR-1160 from Oki uses inductive heating inside the SSC cartridge and holds temperature within +/- 1.1 °C, with no setpoint to enter or correct. Single channel operation at 60 W output covers hand soldering, rework and, with the matching hand piece, desoldering work.

Applications

Hand soldering in series production, rework and repair of SMD and THT assemblies, laboratory and prototype work. The stable tip temperature also suits joints on ground planes and connectors with high thermal drain.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Scope of delivery is the MFR-1160 power unit with a soldering iron for SSC cartridges. The station works exclusively with SSC tips, which carry both temperature and geometry. Cartridges, stand and cleaning accessories are ordered separately.

The tip to ground resistance below 2 ohms supports use at ESD workstations according to IEC 61340-5-1.
