Description
The THA16 filter module of the LAS 1200 runs five stages in sequence. The M5 filter mat is the third of them and takes up what the expanded metal prefilter and the F7 pocket filter let through, before the air reaches the H13 particulate filter and the A16 adsorption filter. ULT states the filter class as ePM10 50% to ISO 16890 and lists the mat as replacement filter 4-00246.

Applications
The LAS 1200 extracts laser fume from laser cutting, marking, structuring and engraving. The THA16 build is designed for processes producing larger amounts of sticky laser fume, for example the machining of organic materials. In this build the M5 filter mat catches whatever has not condensed and agglomerated in the pocket filter. It is replaced at short intervals as soon as it is visibly clogged.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Suitable for the ULT extraction unit LAS 1200 MD.18 THA16. The unit runs at a nominal operating point of 1000 m³/h at 1700 Pa, reaches up to 1500 m³/h, weighs 145 kg, measures 790 x 820 x 1040 mm and carries protection class IP54. Supplied as one M5 filter mat in 505 x 505 x 20 mm format. The H13 particulate filter cassette and the A16 adsorption filter cassette are ordered separately.
