ESD Kapton polyimide tape 25 mm x 33 m, dissipative, up to 300 °C

Covering large continuous areas with narrow strips is slow and leaves seams that solder can creep into. This dissipative polyimide tape at 25 mm width masks such areas in a single strip and survives the solder wave at up to 300 °C for short periods.

Applications

Area masking of contact zones and connector fields in wave soldering, protection of displays and front panels during rework, fixing insulating films and sensors for temperature measurement and masking during coating.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

One roll of 25 mm width and 33 m length on a core with 76 mm inner diameter. For narrower masking the series also offers widths of 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 and 19 mm.

The dissipative tape material is intended for use in EPA areas according to IEC 61340-5-1.
