Hard round material is the real hurdle when cutting bolts and spring steel. The CoBolt XL with cutting recess places the cross-section close to the fulcrum and so manages hard wire up to 4.3 mm dia. and piano wire up to 4.2 mm dia. in a length of 250 mm.
