Cable cutter with three-stage ratchet drive, VDE insulated 1000 V, up to 60 mm dia., 320 mm - Knipex 95 36 320

A 600 mm² cross-section on an installation that may be live calls for both cutting performance and tested insulation. The 95 36 320 cable cutter cuts copper and aluminium cables up to 60 mm dia. and is VDE tested to IEC 60900 for 1000 V.

Areas of use

Switchgear and distribution board assembly, cable work on large cross-sections, substations and maintenance under voltage. Suitable for cables with single and multi-wire conductors of conductor classes 1 and 2. Not suitable for steel wire, wire ropes and fine-stranded highly flexible conductors.

Standards and conformity

The grip insulation is tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for live working up to 1000 V. Conductor classes 1 and 2 refer to DIN EN 60228, VDE 0295 and IEC 60228. According to the manufacturer the cutter contains no substances of very high concern under REACH, and the RoHS directive does not apply.
