Wiring a terminal row means the conductor cross-section changes constantly, and every die change costs time and risks the wrong crimp. These pliers adjust themselves to the required ferrule size and cover 0.08 to 16 mm² in a single die, which corresponds to AWG 28 to 6.

Standards and conformity

Ferrules are crimped according to DIN 46228 parts 1 + 4. In conjunction with KNIPEX wire ferrules 97 99 330 to 399 the crimp carries UL approval. According to the manufacturer the pliers contain substances of very high concern under REACH, the RoHS directive does not apply.
