The shorter the jaw, the closer the edge gets to the component. The 78 23 125 Electronic Super Knips has the shortest jaw of the range at 5.5 mm and, with ground and very sharp edges without bevel, also cuts flush-lying wires from 0.2 mm dia., soft wire up to 1.6 mm dia.
