At an ESD protected workstation the tool has to be part of the discharge path and must not stress delicate components. The 79 12 125 ESD precision electronics diagonal cutter has electrically dissipative handles, weighs only 61 g and cuts hard wire up to Ø 1.0 mm and piano wire up to Ø 0.6 mm.

Standards and conformity

The pliers comply with DIN ISO 9654 and are declared an ESD tool to DIN EN 61 340-5. According to the manufacturer they contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply.
