Anyone moving all day between the placement line, the test bench and the store wants a shoe that feels like a sneaker yet still dissipates charge and protects the toes. The RUNNER 65 is certified to EN ISO 20345 in class S1P SRC and keeps the resistance below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

What defines this shoe

  • Upper made of PET knit from REPREVE fibres. The knit is produced without disturbing seams and wraps the foot as a monosock, while an open mesh structure at the forefoot lets air through.
  • S1P means a closed heel area, energy absorption in the heel, antistatic behaviour and additional penetration resistance. ATLAS uses its XP technology here, so the insert is metal free. SRC is the highest slip resistance grade of the previous marking system.
  • Toecap to EN ISO 20345, tested at 200 joules of impact energy. No compromise against a classic work shoe, only a lighter appearance.
  • SPORTY sole technology with an MPU midsole. Lamellar profiles in the outsole support the roll off, the CLOUDZONE in the heel absorbs impact and the MPU REBOUND SYSTEM returns energy to the stride.
  • aktiv-X functional lining and the clima-stream concept regulate moisture and temperature inside the shoe. After eight hours on your feet that matters more than any datasheet detail.
  • Approved for orthopaedic insole provision to DGUV 112-191, so it can be issued to staff with prescribed insoles.

Applications

Electronics manufacturing and assembly, test and repair benches, cleanroom ante rooms, warehousing and picking inside an EPA, service and training. Without a water repellent upper the model is intended for dry indoor areas.

Standards and conformity

EN ISO 20345, class S1P SRC. ESD to DIN EN 61340-5-1. Suitable for orthopaedic insole provision to DGUV 112-191. PPE risk category II, EU declaration of conformity available from the manufacturer.

ESD footwear drains the wearer's charge to the floor in a controlled way. For these models ATLAS guarantees a resistance below 100 MOhm (10^8 ohms) measured person to shoe to floor according to DIN EN 61340-5-1. EN ISO 20345 contains no ESD test at all. It only defines the antistatic band from 10^5 to 10^9 ohms and is therefore not an ESD proof on its own. DGUV 112-191 sets 10^5 ohms (0.1 MOhm) as the lower limit so that limited protection against dangerous body current remains for work up to 230 V.

Sizes

Available in sizes 36 to 48 in standard width 10. According to the manufacturer all ATLAS shoes in width 10 are built on a broad, foot friendly last.
