Completely metal free class S3 low shoe with a composite toe cap and a textile penetration resistant insert. Atlas guarantees a person, shoe and floor resistance below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The C-TEC cap takes 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression without carrying a cold bridge into the shoe.

Metal detectors at the gate, x-ray inspection, work in a magnetic field: some plants cannot tolerate a gram of steel in a shoe. The C 6305 XP does without. The toe cap is high tech plastic built on the C-TEC technology and the penetration resistant layer is aramid fabric. The cap is tested like any steel one at 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression. For the ESD workplace Atlas guarantees a person, shoe and floor resistance below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

What sets this model apart

  • Class S3 means a closed heel area, antistatic construction, an energy absorbing heel, a water repellent upper, a penetration resistant layer and a cleated outsole. Slip resistance SRC, tested on tile with detergent and on steel with glycerine.
  • C-TEC composite toe cap, anatomically shaped and light. It moves the centre of gravity towards the middle of the foot, behaves thermally neutral and creates no cold bridge into the shoe in winter.
  • XP penetration resistance made of aramid textile instead of a steel insert. Metal free, very light and flexible, so the foot keeps its natural torsion. The toe guard is carbon fibre reinforced.
  • Cordura upper, a nylon fabric with air texture built for hard use and much lighter than leather. Combined with the moisture regulating aktiv-X lining.
  • MPU INNOFLEX System with MPU REBOUND SYSTEM. The CLOUDZONE cushions the heel, the DYNAMIC PLATES in the forefoot return energy at push off and the flex notches support the roll.
  • Standard width 10 in the broad Atlas fit and released for insoles under DGUV rule 112-191.

Standards and conformity

  • EN ISO 20345, safety class S3, slip resistance SRC. The manufacturer does not name an edition for this model, the supplier data sheet refers to EN ISO 20345:2012.
  • DIN EN 61340-5-1, person, shoe and floor resistance below 100 MOhm
  • EN ISO 20345 requires an antistatic range between 10 to the power of 5 ohms (100 kOhm) and 10 to the power of 9 ohms (1000 MOhm)
  • PPE regulation (EU) 2016/425, risk category 2
  • DGUV rule 112-191, suitable for insoles
