Superform/R/98 cutting machine for taped radial components, 15 mm pitch - Iteco 7915113B

Bulky radial components are not taped at 12.7 mm but at 15 millimetres so the bodies do not touch each other. The Superform/R/98 is built for exactly this pitch and cuts the leads as the tape passes through, up to 20,000 components per hour.

Working features

• 15 mm tape pitch - for the wider taping used for electrolytic and larger capacitors. The standard 12.7 mm pitch is covered by version 7915.113A.
• Up to 20,000 components per hour - same output as the standard model, the tape runs through without stopping.
• Body diameter up to 14 mm - the wider pitch gives the component bodies more room at the infeed.
• Lead diameter 0.4 to 1 mm - unchanged compared with the standard model.
• Hand crank or motor drive - the MOT98 motor unit 7915.030 for 230 V or 7915.031 for 115 V can be retrofitted together with foot switch 600.023.
• BR6 reel holder can be fitted - arm 7915.185 keeps the heavier 15 mm reel in the pay-off axis.

Applications

Processing large electrolytic capacitors and bulky film capacitors from 15 mm tape, production lines running the wide taping alongside the standard pitch, and workplaces that cover both pitches with two dedicated machines.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Supplied as the machine for tapes with 15 mm pitch. Conversion to 12.7 mm is not provided for, version 7915.113A covers that pitch. Motor unit, foot switch and BR6 reel holder are optional accessories. The TNS waste tape expeller 7915.080A fits the Superform models A, AP, V, S and R. Made in Italy.
