Cutting and bending machine Superform/A reduced bend length C 0.5 mm fixed pitch 5.08 mm - Iteco 7915100G

The Superform/A 7915.100G cuts and bends the leads of taped axial components at a permanently set pitch of 5.08 mm. Dimension C starts at 0.5 mm, so the bend is made close to the component body, whereas the standard model 7915.100A starts at 1.2 mm.

Key features

• Fixed 5.08 mm pitch keeps the hole pattern identical across a whole production run and removes re-measuring after a reel change.
• Dimension C from 0.5 to 4 mm suits short component bodies where the lead has to be bent immediately behind the body.
• Lead diameter 0.4 to 0.6 mm, matched to the thin leads of small resistors and signal diodes.
• Production rate up to 40,000 pcs per hour, the toothed tracking wheels are adjusted individually.
• Purely mechanical hand crank drive, a 230 V or 115 V motor unit can be added later.

Applications

Through-hole assembly of axial resistors and diodes on a 5.08 mm grid, preparation of kitted components for small and medium batches, rework at manual workstations and prototype building that repeatedly needs the same hole pattern.

Accessories and scope of supply

The machine is supplied as a hand-operated unit without motor drive. Iteco offers the BR6 tape reel holder (7915.185) for unwinding the component tape, the CS10 feeder for loose axial components (7915.180) and the motor unit with manual speed adjustment and automatic torque control in 230 V (7915.030) and 115 V (7915.031). The 600.023 foot switch belongs to these motor units.
