Cutting and preforming machine for taped radial components P=15 mm 230 V - Iteco 7915155

Component tape on a 15 mm pitch carries larger bodies than 12.7 mm tape, for instance electrolytic capacitors of bigger diameter. This version of the Supercut/RP is set up for that pitch, cuts and curls the leads in one pneumatic stroke and keeps up 7,000 components per hour. It runs on a 230 V mains.

What the machine does

• The feeder is built for the 15 mm pitch and is motor driven, so the cycle stays even even with the heavier tape.
• The curl holds the component body clear of the board and locks the lead in the hole, which stops the taller bodies of this pitch from shifting before soldering.
• The distance between body and start of the curl is set on the machine, while curl geometry and cut length are fixed and identical across the whole run.
• The pneumatic die block travels vertically from above and is swapped in a few moves for another lead form.
• At 230 V the machine connects straight to the European mains without any intermediate supply.

Applications

Series preparation of taped electrolytic capacitors, film capacitors and larger resistors on 15 mm pitch tape for through-hole assembly. Typical for power supply, drive and power electronics boards, where the bulkier radial parts are used.

Compatibility and scope of supply

The machine arrives with its tape feeder but without a preforming set. The lead form comes from the die block of the 7915.158 range, for example 7915.158A for stand-off with lock-in or 7915.158C for a body butted onto the board. The matching reel holder is the BR3 7915.159 for 15 mm pitch. The price list calls this version 220 V while the 2026 catalogue and the dealers state 230 V, which is the same mains variant.
