An alarm on a continuous monitor achieves little if soldering simply carries on. The Desco Universal Power Relay ties the workstation power supply to the status of a compatible monitor or ioniser: a single logic input controls one SPDT relay that switches two outlets simultaneously. One outlet is normally off and only powers up on a pass signal, the other is normally on.
