The Desco Statshield smock is worn over street clothing in ESD protected areas and keeps electrostatic charges away from the workstation. A minimum of 9% carbon conductive nylon fibres are woven into the fabric in a chain-link design, giving consistent charge dissipation over the lifetime of the garment.
