Trustat ESD disposable booties, conductive, one size, cleanroom compatible, 150 pairs - Desco 52016

Visitors, service engineers and cleanroom staff need to be grounded quickly without their own ESD shoes. Trustat 52016 disposable booties slip over ordinary shoes, with the grounding tab placed inside the shoe under the foot. This creates the path from the body to the ESD floor, with a tab to bottom resistance of 5 x 10⁴ to 5 x 10⁶ ohms.

Applications

For visitor areas, audits, maintenance visits and cleanrooms in electronics manufacturing. Pull the bootie over the shoe and place the grounding tab inside the shoe under the foot, so the tab section at the bottom of the bootie rests on the ESD floor. Wear on both feet.

Standards

A suitable footwear component in a person, footwear and flooring system per IEC 61340-5-1, tested per IEC 61340-4-5. System limits are below 1 x 10⁹ ohms and below 100 V body voltage. While worn, test with a footwear tester per IEC 61340-5-1, clause A.2, typically with limits of 50 kilohms to 35 megohms.
