Circuit board materials, films and plastic housings cannot be grounded, so their charge travels with them to the component. The Emit Overhead Zero Volt Ionizer neutralizes them from above without taking up bench space. Three fans cover about 61 x 152 cm while the offset voltage stays within ± 3 V.

Standards

Suited to ESD control programs per ANSI/ESD S20.20 and IEC 61340-5-1. Ionization supplements the grounding of people and conductors but does not replace it. Check balance and discharge time regularly with a charged plate monitor and clean the emitters on a fixed schedule.
