The Desco 50603 Chargebuster overhead ionizer covers a 61 x 152 cm area with three fans and neutralizes charges in less than 3 seconds. Two 700 lumen LED panels light the whole station, so no extra lamps are needed on the bench.

Applications

Long assembly and test benches, line stations, calibration and repair stations in the EPA where process-essential insulators cannot be removed. Ionization supplements the grounding of people and worksurfaces, it does not replace it. For stations up to 122 cm wide, the 2-fan version 50602 is sufficient.

Standards

Discharge time and offset voltage meet the ionization limits of EN 61340-5-1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 (offset below ±35 V), tested per ANSI/ESD STM3.1. Performance should be verified periodically as part of the ESD control program.
