Statfree T2 Plus ESD Rubber Mat Roll, Dissipative, 1.5 mm, 12.2 m, Widths 0.6 to 1.2 m - Desco

Statfree T2 Plus on the roll is the material for covering benches in series or in custom sizes with an ESD surface. The dual-layer oil-resistant nitrile rubber has a dissipative coloured top layer (1 x 10⁶ to < 1 x 10⁹ ohms) and a conductive black bottom layer. Choose width and colour, every roll is 12.2 m long and 1.5 mm thick.

• Controlled discharge: the top layer with Rtt and Rtg of 1 x 10⁶ to < 1 x 10⁹ ohms meets the minimum worksurface recommendation of IEC 61340-5-1.
• Conductive black bottom layer with < 1 x 10⁶ ohms lowers the resistance to ground and allows use with ESD workstation monitors.
• Solder-safe: the material does not melt or burn on contact with hot solder or soldering irons and resists flux, acids, mineral oil, aldehydes and amines.
• Oil-resistant nitrile compound limits oil absorption, so electrical and physical properties hold up over the service life.
• UV stabilisers keep the colour stable and prevent the top layer from cracking when the material is flexed.

Applications

For workbenches, packing tables, repair and soldering stations. Let the material condition unrolled for at least 4 hours before cutting, as it shrinks slightly when first unrolled. The mat must be grounded to remove charges. If it lies on a surface that is already properly grounded, separate grounding hardware may not be needed. Do not daisy-chain mats, ground each one individually.

Standards

Meets the worksurface requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20 and the minimum recommendation of IEC 61340-5-1. Resistance is measured per ANSI/ESD STM4.1 and ESD TR53. Lead-free and RoHS compliant. Desco guarantees the dissipative and conductive properties for the life of the mat.
