In a cleanroom, an ESD worksurface must neither outgas nor shed particles. Statfree UC2 is an ultra clean rubber mat with no detectable silicone or DOP and, according to the manufacturer, suits class 100 cleanrooms. The sky blue top dissipates charges at 1 x 10⁶ to < 1 x 10⁹ ohms, while the black bottom at < 1 x 10⁴ ohms lowers the resistance to ground.

Applications

Worksurfaces in cleanrooms, semiconductor and medical device manufacturing, and at soldering stations. Let the material relax unrolled for at least 4 hours before cutting, trim with a sharp knife. Ground via a common point and cord, never daisy chain, clean with Reztore surface and mat cleaner.
