Where assemblies need protection not only from discharge but also from being dropped or set down hard, a thin mat is not enough. At 9.5 mm, Statfree O is considerably thicker than standard bench mats: a cushioned bottom layer absorbs impact energy, while the dissipative top prevents charge generation and dissipates at 1 x 10⁶ to < 1 x 10⁹ ohms.

Applications
