ESD sensitive assemblies need packaging that keeps electrostatic fields and discharges away during transport and storage. The 1000 series metal-in bag is made from a polyester, aluminium and polyethylene laminate and limits the discharge energy inside to less than 20 nJ per ANSI/ESD STM11.31.

Side sealed with a bottom gusset, the bag stands upright and offers a wide opening. That makes loading easy, with one hand holding the bag open and the other placing the part.
