Fluorescence with 400 nm excitation

The AM4115T-CFVW excites the sample with near-UV at 400 nm and filters emission through a long-pass from 430 nm. This combination is tuned for fluorophores such as DAPI and is used in developmental biology, pathology and anatomy. The switchable white light helps to locate the feature first and bring it into focus.
