The Ersa i-CON VARIO 2 MK2 is an ESD-safe multichannel soldering and desoldering station that gives the professional user two soldering tools usable at the same time. Alongside the ergonomic i-Tool AIR S hot-air iron (200 W) you can run a 150 W i-Tool for classic soldering or the Chip Tool Vario desoldering tweezers (80 W); other Ersa soldering tools can be used as alternatives. The compact supply unit offers the familiar, clear operation of the i-CON family, interfaces for Ersa fume extraction units and preheating plates, and safe configuration via microSD memory card.

i-Tool AIR S

The slim, light handpiece carries a 200 W heating cartridge for low-fatigue work on a wide range of SMD components. The hot-air volume is set directly on the handpiece (2 to 20 l/min) and shown on the display of an i-CON VARIO 2 or 4. Various nozzles ensure optimal component heating. A motion sensor switches the hot air off automatically after a programmable time during work breaks; a light sensor in the handpiece turns the i-Tool AIR S on and off. Standby power consumption approx. 25 W.
