The Ersa i-CON VARIO 4 MK2 is the top-class multi-channel soldering and desoldering station (500 W). It provides four soldering tools for demanding tasks and bundles all functions, including air and vacuum generation, in a central supply unit with clear i-Op operation. The station is ideally suited for use in ESD-protected areas.

Tools

i-Tool AIR S (200 W): an ergonomic, lightweight hot air pencil for fatigue-free work on SMD components. The hot air volume (2 to 20 l/min) is set directly on the handpiece and shown on the display. A motion sensor activates it when removed from the holder, and an IR sensor allows button-free switching on and off; various nozzles can be fitted.

Chip Tool VARIO (2x40 W): compact desoldering tweezers for the finest SMD components. The pluggable heating-element pairs can be precisely aligned and quickly exchanged; a switch toggles between self-closing and self-opening operation. Equipped with a motion sensor for activation from standby.

i-Tool (150 W): an extremely light, powerful fine soldering iron with fast heat-up and reheat behaviour, process-window alarm, energy power levels and an auto-standby sensor. The integrated Tip'N'Turn bayonet lock enables quick tip changes and improves performance by 20-25 % compared with a screw connection.

Interfaces for Ersa solder fume extraction units or infrared preheating, a USB port, and quick configuration via microSD card. Standby power consumption approx. 52 W.
