A newly set up soldering bench needs more than the station itself. This professional set combines the Ersa i-CON1 MK2 with 150 W at the i-TOOL MK2 iron and a 50 to 450 °C range with six accessories, among them two extra long-life tips and an ESD work mat.

What the professional set brings

• i-TOOL MK2 iron with a 150 W micro high performance heating element and a 9 second heat-up to 350 °C.
• Working range of 50 to 450 °C for lead free processes and for temperature sensitive parts.
• Four series 142 long-life tips in total at 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.6 mm and 2.4 mm, all with the Tip'n'Turn bayonet.
• ESD safe construction, so the station is cleared for use at an ESD protected workstation.
• Lead free solder wire Sn99.25Cu0.7Ni0.05 of 1.0 mm on a 50 g reel is included, together with an ESD desoldering pump and an ESD work mat.
• One Touch operation on a large multifunction display, built for the narrow process windows of lead free soldering.

Use and compatibility

The set suits the initial fit-out of an ESD soldering bench in development, test or repair. Four tip widths from 0.5 to 2.4 mm cover fine pads as well as larger terminals. All tips come from series 142 and change through the bayonet without tools.
