i-CON VARIO 2 MK2 ESD 2-Channel Desoldering Station with X-Tool vario 150 W - Ersa 0ICV2005XVI

The Ersa i-CON VARIO 2 MK2 is an antistatic 2-channel soldering and desoldering station with vacuum pump, built for the highest demands in professional desoldering. Two Ersa tools can be operated at the same time - vacuum and contact soldering (no hot air on this model). It is supplied with the X-Tool vario (150 W) desoldering iron and the i-Tool (150 W) fine soldering iron.

All soldering tools feature an acceleration sensor that, once the tool is set down, activates an automatic standby (150-300 °C) or a rest mode (room temperature). Moving the tool brings it back to operating temperature within seconds. In addition to the X-Tool vario, further Ersa soldering tools can be used optionally.

All functions are integrated into a central supply unit with very simple i-Op operation and clear displays. The station also provides interfaces for automatically switching on Ersa fume extraction units (via standby signal), control of Ersa infrared preheaters and a USB port. An optional microSD memory card allows the station and tools to be updated quickly and safely. The station is ideally suited for use in ESD protected areas.

X-Tool vario: One of the most powerful desoldering irons with 150 W heating power, very easy desoldering-tip changes and an easy-to-clean residual-solder container. Designed for the most demanding desoldering of conventional components on high-mass PCBs. Please use desoldering tips of the 0742ED series.

i-Tool: An extremely light, powerful fine soldering iron with a wide range of low-cost long-life tips. 150 W ensure the fastest heat-up and reheat behaviour. Process-window alarm, energy power levels and automatic standby sensor give the i-CON user unmatched process control. The integrated Tip'N'Turn bayonet lock allows simple, fast tip changes and delivers 20-25 % more performance compared with a screw connection.

The unit is supplied without an integrated hot-air module. The Ersa i-Tool AIR cannot be used with this station.
