Packing boards, components or small parts into film bags calls for a seal that is tight the first time. On the Iteco 7914245 a holding magnet keeps the sealing arm closed for the whole cycle and releases it automatically when the set time has elapsed, so bags and tubing up to 300 mm wide can be closed at a steady rate.

Features

• The holding magnet keeps the contact pressure uniform for the entire cycle, which gives an evenly formed 5 mm seal along the full length.
• Welding time and cooling time are set separately, so results stay repeatable across film thicknesses up to 2 x 0.15 mm.
• The integrated cutting blade trims the film overhang right after sealing and removes a second handling step.
• Impulse heating needs no warm-up, the unit is ready for work as soon as it is switched on.
• The arm re-opens by itself at the end of the cycle, leaving both hands free for the next bag.
• Seals every thermoplastic film, from plain PE to multi-layer laminates.

Accessories and scope of delivery

The bench unit is supplied with holding magnet, timer control and cutting blade. The matching accessory is the Iteco 7914227 worktable for 300 mm, which brings machine and film roll to one working height. Desiccant bags and further consumables for moisture barrier packaging complete the workplace.
