Aventics Pneumatics
The Aventics pneumatic sensor range covers CN1 and CN2 series connectors and sockets (M8x1 and M12x1), PM1 series pressure switches, and CB1 series sensor mounting brackets. The electrical connection technology includes plugs (3- and 5-pole), sockets, Y-connectors and bus connectors for PROFIBUS DP and CAN; CN1 series cable sockets are available in Form-A housings with M16x1.5 cable glands.
PM1 series pressure switches deliver a switching signal when a preset pressure threshold is reached. CB1 sensor mounts (types TRB and MNI) are designed for cylinder bore diameters of 32-100 mm and allow precise positioning of piston position sensors along the cylinder barrel.

For CN connectors the key parameters are pole count (3 or 5), thread size (M8 or M12) and connector orientation (straight or angled, plug or socket). For PM1 pressure switches, select by port thread, measuring range and output type (PNP/NPN, digital output). CB1 sensor mounts are chosen by cylinder bore diameter: TRB for bores of 32-100 mm (with clamp bracket), MNI for miniature cylinders with bores from 10 mm.
Typical applications: End-position detection on pneumatic cylinders in handling and assembly equipment, pressure monitoring in pneumatic circuits with PM1 switches, fieldbus connection of valve islands via PROFIBUS DP or CAN bus connectors, and sensor wiring in Aventics valve terminal systems.
