Vacuum technology
Aventics vacuum accessories complement ejectors and suction cups with functional individual components for system fine-tuning. The range includes flow control valves of the VCK series (threads M5, G1/8, G1/4, G3/8, G1/2), angle compensator units AJT series for gripper-to-surface adaptation, spring plungers PSL series in multiple stroke increments (5-75 mm), vacuum cup filters VFC series, and vacuum inline filters VFI series. These components enable precise tuning of the vacuum circuit and protect ejectors from contamination.
VCK flow control valves regulate the suction volume at the gripper, thereby reducing the ejector's compressed air consumption. AJT angle compensator units compensate for angular deviations between the gripper and the workpiece surface, protecting the gripper from uneven loading. PSL spring plungers cushion docking forces during the gripping process and extend the service life of suction cups and gripper heads. VFC cup filters sit directly at the gripper and keep particles out of the vacuum circuit; VFI inline filters protect centralized ejectors. Selection is governed by port size and installation position.
Typical applications: Fine-tuning vacuum flow in multi-circuit gripping systems with varying suction cup diameters, angle compensation when gripping curved or inclined workpieces, shock absorption when gripping fragile parts (glass, ceramics), and filtration to protect ejectors from dust and fibres in packaging and woodworking industries.
