Airtec solenoid valves
Airtec 5/3-way solenoid valves control double-acting cylinders with three defined switching positions: both coils de-energised gives the centre position, each coil individually energised switches to one of the two end positions. The three centre position types are closed (30 = all ports blocked), exhausted (33 = A and B connected to R/S) and pressurised (34 = A and B connected to P). The range covers series KM 09 (G 1/8") and KM 10 (G 1/4") as well as M 05, M 07, M 22 (G 1/8" to G 1/2").

Typical applications: Positioning of machine axes with a defined mid-position (e.g. centring and clamping fixtures); pneumatic grippers with float position for workpiece changeover; robot grippers with depressurised centre position during tool change; safety applications with hydraulically locked mid-position; control of pneumatic swivel cylinders with intermediate stop.
