On leads with a large copper connection the tip temperature drops the moment it lands, and the joint stays cold. This chisel therefore uses a 1.5 mm blade instead of the usual 1.0 mm and, together with 5.0 mm of width, provides a distinctly larger heat reserve.

Aimed at joints with a higher heat demand such as ground planes, power terminals and sturdy connectors. Fits the 9018M and 9018BMT soldering robot tools and therefore the ET9181, 9594FYA, ET9494E, 9584EYA and ET9494F-A robots plus further models of the range. Supplied as a single tip.
