MSD parts taken from dry pack absorb moisture. At reflow that moisture can stress the package and scrap the lot. Ghibli ADV 1400 l holds the interior below 5 percent RH, typically 2 percent, so floor life per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 stays frozen.

What sets the cabinet apart

• Plug and play below 5 percent RH: switch on. TekDry modules run continuously and are not gated by a hygrometer, so a drifting sensor cannot stop drying.
• Modular for 20-plus years: dehumidifier modules come out with a screwdriver. Keep the steel body, swap the module.
• Ethernet and LED as standard: live humidity and temperature on the network, proximity-switched interior light, display in the cabinet top. Sensor 8104.853 mounts magnetically and can be sent for calibration without stopping the cabinet.
• ESD steel body: 1.2 mm steel, dissipative paint 10³ to 10⁹ ohm, magnetically sealed doors with key lock, flat front.
• 40 C baking: low-temperature bake of SMD reels that can then go straight into a pick-and-place feeder. Average 500 W, peak 1500 W.

Hold opened MSD reels and panels before soldering, EPA stores that need logged climate, rework and small series where opened dry pack must continue without a full bake , plus 40 C baking of tape before the feeder.
