When the joint sits sideways under a component, a bent tip beats a straight one. The STTC-026 is a conical soldering cartridge with 0.4 mm diameter, 7.9 mm tip length and a tip bent by 30 degrees. Heating is regulated by the Curie point of the alloy inside the cartridge body, so the 357 °C working temperature is fixed and needs no calibration.

Applications

Compatibility and scope of delivery
The cartridge runs on the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E hand pieces and therefore on the Metcal MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems. It is exchanged without tools while the unit stays powered. Delivery covers one single soldering cartridge without hand piece and without power unit.
