Heat-sinking joints in a single pass: the STTC-117 chisel tip provides a 5 mm tip width and 7.6 mm length at a constant 412 °C on Metcal STTC series systems.

Applications

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The cartridge fits the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E hand pieces and therefore the Metcal MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems. Delivery includes one soldering tip cartridge with integrated heater, order unit piece.

The closed, electrically conductive cartridge design and the grounded tip support soldering on ESD sensitive assemblies inside an EPA according to IEC 61340-5-1.
