Description
The STTC-801P conical soldering tip cartridge runs at 485 °C and is built for thermally demanding joints such as ceramic substrates or parts with a large thermal mass. The 1 mm cone with 6.5 mm length still stays fine enough for tight areas.

The Metcal SmartHeat system holds the working temperature without calibration and without a temperature setting, and the tip can be grounded for ESD workplaces to IEC 61340-5-1.
