Filter mat M5-02 prefilter pack of 10 for ASD 160/200 and LRA 200 - ULT 02.0.573

Between the mechanical prestage and the H13 main filter sits the M5-02 filter mat, filter class M5, ISO Coarse 85 % to ISO 16890. It picks up coarse and medium dust and is therefore the consumable whose change rhythm decides the service life of the far more expensive main filter cassette. ULT supplies the mat in packs of ten for the extraction units of the 160 and 200 series.

Position in the filter build

The prefilter elements stop the downstream H13 main filter element from clogging early. Changing the prefilters regularly at short intervals keeps the main filter working for a long time. In the solder fume filter build the M5-02 mat works together with the finer F7-02 mat, in the dust and smoke build it follows the Z-Line G4 prefilter.

Applications

Routine filter service on solder fume and dust extraction in electronics manufacturing, rework and repair. On dust intensive processes such as grinding, engraving or polishing the change interval shortens noticeably, which is what makes the pack of ten worthwhile.
