Gas binding main filter for the ULT JUMBO filter trolley in the ACD and LabCat A versions. The 6 kg activated carbon fill adsorbs odours, solvent vapours and organic gases that a particulate filter cannot retain. The cassette is matched to the nominal flow of 80 m³/h, so contact time is long enough for adsorption.

Description
The A6 adsorption filter cassette is the gas binding main filter of the ULT JUMBO filter trolley in the ACD and LabCat A versions. Its 6 kg activated carbon fill binds gaseous substances on the carbon surface that a particulate filter cannot retain.

Applications
Bonding, laminating, pretreatment, coating, printing, cleaning and casting, plus analysis and synthesis work in laboratories, wherever solvent vapours, odours or organic gases occur. Recirculation is not permitted when carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic substances are extracted.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Suitable for ULT JUMBO filter trolleys in the ACD and LabCat A versions, supplied as one piece. For gas mixtures where activated carbon is not a suitable adsorbent, ULT offers two alternatives: the AC8 chemisorption filter cassette with 8 kg of granulate made of 50 vol% activated carbon and 50 vol% chemisorbent (4-00404) and the C10 chemisorption filter cassette with 10 kg of chemisorbent (4-00402).
