Combination filter cassette H13A main filter series 160 - ULT 02.1.562

A solder fume extractor is only as clean as its main filter. This ULT H13A combination filter cassette replaces the spent main filter of the series 160 and combines two stages in one housing: an H13 particulate filter and an adsorption filter with an activated carbon bed for the gaseous fraction of solder and laser fume.

Position in the filter build

In the ULT 160.1 series the H13A combination cassette sits at the end of the filter train. The laser fume build K places a panel filter F9 (ISO ePM1 60 percent to ISO 16890) and a filter mat M5 (ISO Coarse 85 percent) ahead of it, the solder fume build K a pair of M5/F7 filter mats. These prefilters bind most of the particles and the cooled sticky aerosols. Changed at short intervals, they keep the more expensive H13A cassette working for a long time. Gaseous and vaporous fractions are adsorbed in the activated carbon bed, and the filter is designed around the nominal air volume of the units for a medium adsorption behaviour.

Applications

Scheduled filter changes on solder and laser fume extraction units of the series 160 in electronics manufacturing, rework and laboratories. Replacement is due when the unit signals filter loading or when the airflow at the capture point drops noticeably.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Fits LAS 160 K and LAS 160 SK as well as WSA10 and WSA20LR, both the models up to 2016 and the 2017 model. Belongs to the replacement filters LAS 160.1 K and LAS 160.1 SK. Scope of delivery: 1 H13A combination filter cassette.
