A second handpiece at the bench avoids interrupting a production run for a tip change and keeps the station working if one unit fails. The SHP-K accepts K series soldering cartridges and runs on the TMT-2000PS, PS800 and PS900 power units.

Applications
Soldering and rework on assemblies in repair operations, low volume production and test labs. It also makes sense as a standby handpiece so that a broken cable or a worn heater does not take a workstation out of service.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Suits the TMT-2000PS, PS800 and PS900 power units. It accepts K series soldering cartridges, selected separately by shape and width. Delivery covers the soldering handpiece including the protective pad for tip removal, sold by the piece.
The ESD safe design fits benches operated as an EPA to IEC 61340-5-1.
