Handpieces are consumable items with a limited life while power units keep running for years. The SHP-SM is designed as a replacement for Metcal article MFR-H6-SSC and operates on the MFR-PS1100 and the TMT-2000PS.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Intended for the Thermaltronics TMT-2000PS and Metcal MFR-PS1100 power units. The package contains the ESD soldering handpiece and the RMP-1 protection pad for tip removal, sold by the piece. Soldering cartridges are ordered separately to suit the joint.

The ESD safe build is intended for workstations inside an EPA to IEC 61340-5-1.
