Applications
Soldering and desoldering on populated assemblies, touch up after the reflow process and repairs in a field service lab. As a planned spare it belongs in stock at any bench that depends on a single soldering station.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Intended for the Thermaltronics TMT-2000PS and Metcal MFR-PS1100 power units. The package contains the ESD soldering handpiece and the RMP-1 protection pad for tip removal, sold by the piece. Soldering cartridges are ordered separately to suit the joint.
The ESD safe build is intended for workstations inside an EPA to IEC 61340-5-1.
