The TZ-KIT-2 extends a TMT-5000S soldering station with heated tweezers for rework on two-terminal SMD parts. It contains the SHP-TTZ handpiece and the matching SHH-TTZ stand, and takes tweezer tips from the TZ series. Both arms lock and the tips can be aligned in two axes.

A TMT-5000S used with a single iron reaches its limits on chip components and small two-terminal parts. The TZ-KIT-2 retrofits the station with the SHP-TTZ tweezer handpiece, which heats both joints at once and lifts the component in the same movement.
