Applications
Soldering and touch up work on boards, connectors and wiring harnesses at benches equipped with the Metcal SP200. It also serves as a standby handpiece so a failure does not interrupt repair work.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Intended for the Metcal SP200 soldering station as a replacement for handpiece number SP-HC-1. The delivery consists of the ESD soldering handpiece and the RMP-1 pad for tip removal, sold by the piece. Soldering tips are selected separately.
The ESD safe design is meant for use inside an EPA to IEC 61340-5-1.
