Solder tweezer kit with SHP-MTZ handpiece for TMT-9000S - Thermaltronics TZ-KIT-1

Chip resistors, capacitors, MELF and SOT packages release only when both joints are liquid together. The TZ-KIT-1 gives an existing TMT-9000S power unit exactly that ability: an ergonomic SHP-MTZ tweezer handpiece with two heated arms, the matching SHH-MTZ stand and the mount for TZ-series tweezer tips.

Applications

Removing and replacing chip components, MELF diodes, SOT packages and small connectors in board repair, prototype building and electronics service. Placing single parts during sample builds is also faster with tweezers than with two separate irons.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The kit runs on the TMT-9000S soldering station and is supplied with the SHP-MTZ handpiece and the SHH-MTZ stand. TZ-series tweezer tips are chosen separately according to component size and are not included.

The ESD-safe design allows use at workstations built to IEC 61340-5-1.
