Dense assemblies rarely allow a straight approach angle. The XNT 4X soldering tip is bent by 30 degrees and lays its 1.2 mm chisel face flat on the pad while the iron stays angled above it. A tip length of 34.6 mm keeps the view on the assembly clear.
