When populating and reworking printed circuit boards, wire ends have to be cut close to the component without pulling on the solder joint. The 64 12 115 electronics end cutting nippers cut soft wire up to 1.4 mm dia. and medium hard wire up to 0.8 mm dia., in a tool only 115 mm long weighing 70 g.

The pliers comply with DIN ISO 9654 for electronics pliers. According to the manufacturer they contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply to this product.
