Areas of use

Switchgear and distribution board assembly, cable installation, maintenance and service work on large cross-sections. Suitable for cables with single and multi-wire conductors of conductor classes 1 and 2. Not suitable for steel wire, wire ropes and fine-stranded highly flexible conductors.

Standards and conformity

Conductor classes 1 and 2 refer to DIN EN 60228, VDE 0295 and IEC 60228. The manufacturer states no tool standard for this non-insulated model. According to the manufacturer the cutter contains no substances of very high concern under REACH, and the RoHS directive does not apply.
