Working on distribution boards that may be live calls for tested insulation without giving up cutting performance. The 95 36 280 cable cutter is VDE tested to IEC 60900 for 1000 V and cuts copper and aluminium cables up to 52 mm dia. or 380 mm².

Areas of use

Electrical installation, distribution and switchgear assembly, substations and service work on installations that may be live. Suitable for cables with single and multi-wire conductors of conductor classes 1 and 2. Not suitable for steel wire, wire ropes and fine-stranded highly flexible conductors.

Standards and conformity

The grip insulation is tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for live working up to 1000 V. Conductor classes 1 and 2 refer to DIN EN 60228, VDE 0295 and IEC 60228. According to the manufacturer the cutter contains no substances of very high concern under REACH, and the RoHS directive does not apply.
