Wherever the lead has to end flush with the board, a bevel on the cutting edge gets in the way. The 77 22 115 electronics diagonal cutter therefore has a round head without bevel. It cuts soft wire from 0.3 to 1.3 mm dia. and medium hard wire up to 1.0 mm dia., the edges being laser hardened to approx. 62 HRC.
