Only a few metres often separate an ESD workstation from the yard outside, and the shoe has to handle both. The FLASH 6805 XP covers that with safety class S3S to EN ISO 20345:2022, meaning a water tested upper, a cleated outsole and a non metallic penetration barrier tested with the thin 3.0 mm nail. Resistance still stays below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1.
What the shoe delivers
- S3S is the toughest penetration test. Atlas certifies this model to EN ISO 20345:2022 as S3S SR. That covers everything in S2, including the water tested upper, plus a cleated outsole and a non metallic penetration barrier tested with the thin 3.0 mm nail instead of the 4.5 mm nail behind the P marking.
- Charge dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The shoe ties the wearer into the personnel grounding of the EPA. Atlas guarantees a resistance of less than 100 MOhm measured by the person shoe floor method. The plain antistatic requirement of EN ISO 20345 allows anything between 0.1 MOhm and 1000 MOhm. Component protection depends on the tighter figure, because only that prevents a discharge when someone picks up an assembly.
- Steel toe cap rated 200 joules. The anatomically shaped cap withstands at least 200 joules of impact and at least 15 kN of compression to EN ISO 20345. Two hundred joules is roughly 20 kilograms falling from one metre, the classic workpiece sliding off a bench.
- MPU INNOFLEX system with MPU REBOUND. The sole assembly guides the load along one natural line of force, the INNOFLEX LINE, from first to last ground contact. Large tread areas made of energy absorbing MPU material take up the impact and return it into the next step. Anyone covering kilometres on concrete across a shift notices the difference by the end of the day.
- Sportline upper and aktiv-X functional lining. The Sportline fabric is built from textile fibres, is highly air permeable and breathes well. The aktiv-X lining regulates moisture actively, does not stain, is kind to the skin and resists abrasion. In heated production halls that is what decides the eighth hour of a shift.
- Width 10 and orthopaedic insoles. Every Atlas safety shoe in standard width 10 is built on a broad, foot friendly last, this is not a narrow standard width. The shoe is approved for orthopaedic insoles under DGUV rule 112-191, the marking inside the shoe is what counts.

Areas of use
Maintenance and workshop, assembly and machine building, warehouse and loading bays, plus EPA zones in production. The cleated outsole and the water tested upper also cover trips across the yard and damp areas of the hall. For seated cleanroom work a lighter S1 model is enough.
Standards and conformity
- EN ISO 20345:2022, safety class S3S, slip resistance SR. Steel toe cap, tested to 200 joules of impact and 15 kN of compression.
- DIN EN 61340-5-1, ESD compliant. Resistance measured by the person shoe floor method is less than 100 MOhm. The antistatic requirement of EN ISO 20345 is wider, between 0.1 MOhm and 1000 MOhm.
- Metal free penetration barrier, Atlas XP technology.
- PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425, risk category 2.
- DGUV rule 112-191, suitable for orthopaedic insoles. The marking inside the shoe is what counts.
